Mobile Web 2.0
Here is a link to a presentation made by JongHong Jeon. He works in South Korean ETRI.
His reflexions are oriented on mobile Web 2.0. He compares the 96 Web to the 06 mobile Web.
One limit on his reflexion: there is obviously a big difference in business models between the Web and Mobile.
For instance, most mobile companies are carrier friendly whereas most most Web companies simply don’t care for ISPs.
There are a lot of new ideas these days and energies in mobile multimedia. However, a lack of standard prevents a real industry to emerge such as what has been seen in the Web.
With all big Web companies entering in this market, is this going to change soon?

Anther major difference : web apps are not device-dependent.
Basically a developper doesn’t have to care about what devise is used to browse/use its application
In te mobile area you have to support brew/java/wml/pml/xhtml/hexen………
